Note the 5 taper roller bearing are all Timken and the 2 rear support bearings are NKE

These kits just tick the box. The stronger (than original) syncho hub springs are a plus. Don’t think about an R380 rebuild until you’ve ordered one of these. The shim kit is a must for first time buyers. My kit came free when I ordered a bag of Gummy Bears??

Great kit. Only knock on the kit is I did not realize I might need different shims and that the kit does not come with shims. An additional 40GBP just in shipping for those of us on the other side of the Atlantic was a bummer to shell out. If you don’t know and are outside the UK I recommend you just go ahead and get the shims. I can’t find them stateside.

Been dealing with ashcroft for well over 25 years now and as always a great comprehensive kit , i built gearboxes for LR back in the day and these parts are not available separate which make these a great option.
